David Feldmar BVMS MRCVS

I started keeping Pythons and Boas whilst at university studying to be a vet in 1990 and since that time I have kept and bred a large number of different species. I first got involved in colour morphs breeding albino Burmese in those early days but since then was the first in the UK to breed albino Royal Pythons in 1995 & albino Common Boas in 1997.

Once qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon I started to see an increasing number of reptiles and set up a couple of reptile referral clinics in Brighton and Sevenoaks seeing just these animals. I also started a couple of shops in Surrey (Biosystems) and in Sussex (Prestige Reptiles) that retailed reptiles and amphibians but later closed these and the clinics on moving to Lincolnshire in 2004 where I am a partner in a small animal practice.

Since the move to Lincolnshire I have been gradually getting more snakes again. I am currently working with many python species including colour morphs as indicated on the list of species if you click on the link above. In addition to the day to day cat and dogs I attend to, I also see reptiles with veterinary problems at my new surgery, the details of which can be clicked on above.
