Bredl's Pythons
(Morelia Bredli)Found in and around the Macdonnell ranges of the Northern Territory which is in the centre of Australia. Bredl's Pythons are generally placid and reluctant to bite. They quickly grow to reach 6-7feet or more and are generally more heavy bodied than say carpet python species. They have a reddish background with yellow to cream bands that are edged with black, more so towards the rear of the body.
I have separated these from the carpet pythons in general as that's the way people seem to look at these taxonomically nowdays. However to all intense and purposes they are a carpet python and it is here in terms of mating the dark red colouration of this python in to the Jags, granites and albinos that my interest in these pythons lies.MORPHS
There are some hypomelanistic varients out there but I don't know of any line proven to be truely hypo rather than just relatively low black but this may change in time. My stock is all normal phase.
